About

I am a product of the Blue Ridge Mountains. I was born in the back room at a Dr’s clinic in Spruce Pine, N.C. in the summer of 1945. It was in those beautiful hills and valleys that I became the person I am today. My roots run deep into that black dirt of Western North Carolina.

This blog is self therepy. As I put my memories into posts I serve my own need to remember and reflect, and to hopefully enlighten and entertain others.

I now live in Monroe, LA where I work as a REALTOR, play with my grand kids, and enjoy the blessings of God.
